Do you ever feel you are in this alone? I sure hope not. Friend, we are in this together.
As United Methodists, we know about connectionalism and the importance of working cooperatively for God’s glory. The truth is, sometimes when we are caught up in the daily grind, putting connectionalism into practice can prove to be difficult.
Where do you actually go to connect? Where are all the other youth leaders? How do you broadcast the great work you are doing at your church? Where do you go to find all of the wonderful things happening at other churches?
Look no further, Friend, Next Generation Ministries is here to help. We want to be the connective tissue that binds the next-generation-empowering body together because we are one.
- Invite. If you have an event happening at your church and you want Next Generation Ministries to come, let us know. We’d love to be there!
- Share. Next Gen is expanding the newsletter! If you would like to invite other GNJ youth groups to your events, submit your events to Carla for inclusion in the newsletter by the 10th of each month. You can also share stories, pictures and videos from your youth events, along with your favorite youth ministry resources.
- Plan. Make Next Gen events a part of your youth ministry plan. Next Gen Summer Camps and IGNITE 2019 are excellent opportunities for your youth to connect with other UM youth and have fun!
