One of the least controversial commands in the scriptures is the command to love your neighbor as yourself (Lev. 19:18). You don’t even have to believe in Jesus to think that loving your neighbor sounds like a good idea. But what does it actually mean to love your neighbor? And who counts as a neighbor? Join us and explore how Jesus wants us to think about neighboring and loving our neighbors!
The Love Your Neighbor Youth Retreat is a grassroots collaborative ministry hosted by Princeton United Methodist Church, Hopewell United Methodist Church, and First United Methodist Church of Toms River. As we dream about the future of youth ministry in the greater New Jersey area, we’re captivated by the idea that when local churches gather together for worship, fellowship, and learning, amazing things can happen! We want you and your church to join us in this journey.
We invite you to join us for a weekend of fun, fellowship, worship, and learning – exploring God’s invitation for us to love our neighbors as ourselves.
